Our product categories include, but isn’t limited to, shade cloth, agricultural materials, construction netting, game netting, waterproofing solutions, camping and outdoor products, as well as home and DIY.

We certainly do not believe that one size fits all.  Therefore we take the time to understand our customers’ needs and to provide insights on the various available options.

Although we have a range of standard products and sizes available, it would be our pleasure to customise sizes based on customer requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all your products UV Resistant?

Outdoor fabrics are typically made with UV stabilised high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene.

The UV resistance does vary depending on product requirements.

Are all your products Waterproof?

No, we have a range of products specifically designed as waterproofing solutions.

These range from Waterproof transparent material for Agricultural purposes (e.g. for greenhouses) to Waterproof covers, which can we used for camping and other outdoor applications (e.g. covering garden furniture or bakkie cargo covers).

What is the difference between Water Resistant and Waterproof?

Water resistant materials will provide protection against outside moisture, but some moisure may still penetrate through the material.

Waterproof materials on the other hand, provides complete protection from external weather and moisture.

Is the percentage Shade Cloth related to the percentage Water resistance?

No, the percentage shade cloth is not directly related to the water resistance.

The percentage of the shade cloth refers to the percentage of sun it blocks out.  A percentage of 40% would therefore refer to 40% of the sun being blocked out, etc.

However, the higher the percentage shade cloth, the thicker the material will be and the more water it will repel, as long as there is a good run-off.

What percentage Shade Cloth should I invest in?

The percentage of the shade cloth refers to the percentage of sun it blocks out.

20 – 60% is a good guideline for fruit trees and vegetables BUT different types of plants need different amounts of sunlight to flourish, therefore these factors would need to be considered as well.

70 – 80% would be recommended for hoarding shade cloth for use in building or construction areas.

A higher percentage shade cloth (80 – 95%) would be recommended for sheltering people (e.g. shade sails, patio covers and car ports) and livestock (e.g. animal shelters).

Do you sell directly to the public?

Yes we do.  Our customers range from wholesale and corporate clients to the general public.
